Trends for Fall Brides 2018

December 19, 2017

As you probably know, a few days ago the fashion week was celebrated in New York, also known by its acronym in English NYFW, where the haute couture firms present their bridal proposals for the following year.

It's no surprise if I tell you that one of the favorite activities of marriageable brides is to review each and every one of the proposals of the bridal firms to find the ideal dress. There are so many dresses, so pretty, so elegant and so spectacular that it is hard to decide. In banking there is a term for this - "infoxication" - or information intoxication, which can easily be transferred to the world of the wedding. Bridal infoxication. It extends to all possible areas of nupcialization but is especially palpable in the choice of the wedding dress. How does it materialize? Well, the symptoms are that you like lace and transparencies, floral applications, rosewood and ostrich feathers, and you'd love to wear a biker jacket but also a carved veil ... We already know how that will end if we do not measures are taken. It will end badly. Very bad. It will end in a "Christmas tree" look.

Pay attention and learn to filter bridal fashion trends with me:

1. "Royal" aesthetics

If what you are looking for is a refined and elegant look that gives you an aristocratic bearing, in Reem Acra you will find the last of your shoe. I love how with a simple paniculata crown this look is achieved, which also stylizes and makes you look taller.

2. Transparencies

I know that many will put their hands to their heads when thinking of a bride with these transparencies on the way to the altar of the church. The truth is that I see it more for a civil ceremony in a super exclusive location and a lot of luxury than in a religious temple. I'll say more, I'm sure there will be many brides who can wear this model as goddesses that are, wearing the dress and not the other way around. So if you're not shy, this is from Zuhair Murad.

3. Rose stick

This color came into the wedding dresses of the hand of the ivory color, which marked a trend for 2017. In the next season will stay and give color to skirts, bodies with transparencies and tulle dresses. Zuhair Murad also bets on this trend.

4. Very carved veils

Either with lace on the entire surface of the veil and not just on the edges, as we had seen before. Embossed floral applications are also embroidered, and embroidered with silver and gold threads.

5. Romantic aesthetics

It is the proposal of Gala by Galia Lahav, where floral applications are mixed in relief, sweetheart neckline and very sensual Bardot shoulders. It contributes its fair point of transparency. Lihi Hod follows this line and presents a romantic style, simple, elegant and current. Truth be told: this is one of my favorites.

6. Pants

Right. Pants. For the current bride and practice that puts her personality to the expected. This proposal also mixes transparencies and a very vaporous tail.

7. Volume

Viktor and Rolf work the volume with layers and layers of tulle, especially in this skirt, which makes me think of a swan. The solidity of the skirt and the length of the tail make up without a doubt the WOW factor of this model.

Have you learned to filter with me? If you have not found yours yet, do not worry, there are many more that I will show you in future posts. Did you like them?
